Former Derry Area standout Elias Kott, 20, captured first place in the Latrobe-GLSD Parks and Recreation Commission’s 21st annual Rabbit Race on Saturday at Latrobe Memorial Stadium with a 5k time of 18:35. Kott is a junior at St. Bonaventure University where he is a member of the men’s cross-country and track teams. In the lower photo, Colette Silvis, 40, of Unity Township was the first female to cross the finish line in 20:35.
