‘Trump Train’ comes to town

Local Republican activist Leslie Rossi (center) was on hand to have her Republican committee campaign petition signed when the “Trump Train” campaign tour bus for President Donald Trump stopped in the former Rusbosin Furniture parking lot in Unity Township on Monday. The bus is the brainchild of Buddy Hall, a Trump supporter who came up with the idea in order to promote the president while simultaneously raising funds for The American Association for Lost Children (AAFLC) through donations from those who tour the bus. Hall turned to the AAFLC when his two daughters were abducted and the charity helped find, rescue and reunite him with his children. The “Trump Train” bus will be in Gibsonia on Wednesday and Meridian on Thursday, from noon to 7 p.m. To make a donation to the AAFLC, visit the organization’s website at www.aaflc.org.
