Ligonier earns Community Scenic Achievement award

Scenic Pittsburgh, a nonprofit focused on protecting and preserving the scenic resources of southwestern Pennsylvania, honored Ligonier with its Community Scenic Achievement Award at a Nov. 6 ceremony on the Diamond. On hand for the presentation were Ligonier Mayor Ormond “Butch” Bellas, Ligonier Borough Council member Jeff Craig, Scenic Pittsburgh Executive Director Mike Dawinda, state Rep. Leslie Rossi and Westmoreland County Commissioner Doug Chew.
