The Westmoreland County Coroner’s Office confirmed that an unidentified man was killed in a shooting incident Thursday night in the West Derry area of Derry Township.

According to a Westmoreland County 911 dispatcher, state police were called to an incident on West Fourth Avenue (Route 217) not far from the Red Apple-Kwik Fill gas station just before 8 p.m.
