Greater Latrobe Senior High freshmen students in Mrs. Skala’s GOAL Program recently had the opportunity to tour the Westmoreland County Courthouse in Greensburg. Students were able to spend 90 minutes in the courtroom of Judge Scott O. Mears Jr., where they witnessed the testimony of a Pennsylvania State Police trooper and an expert witness in domestic violence as part of an attempted homicide case. Judge Christopher A. Feliciani was gracious enough to spend time talking to students as well and answering their questions as part of the courthouse tour. For more education news, see page A4.
